IDENTITY, PACKAGING &
Spudlery is spud cutlery: single-use utensils made from potato starch and soy oil. These days, plastic alternatives are a future-forward solution to our pollution problem. In fact it's hard to imagine there was ever a time before plastic. That's why I created an identity for Spudlery inspired by the past—rubber hose cartoons, 1920s boxing posters, and the retro aesthetic of low-cost printing methods.
This project was undertaken during my time at Parsons School of Design.
